Story
Our story began May 2019. It all began with a private moment captured as I reached the top of the stairs. It was not my intent to be nosey. I walked into a private moment being captured, creating a memory and memoralizing the spirit of looking back while looking forward. My oldest sister encouraged me to pursue my passion of narrating forever stories through the lens of my camera in Washington, DC on Howard University's campus. We continue to capture the moment, create the memory and normalize looking back while looking forwad.

My name is Clara Osborne, focal historian. I write, tell stories and record history through the lens of my camera. My love for photography began when my children were born. There was joy in capturing the moments that have become my treasured memories. From behind the lens, I frame a moment in time that lives beyond time. From behind the lens I tell a story that will be forever told in the lifetime of the photo.
